Description:
Reporting directly to the group Chairman, the successful person will be responsible for all aspects of the group production facility in Argentina for a fast growing stone company based in London producing and supplying 50,000 tons per year of natural slate world wide.
The candidate will have direct responsibility in having a profitable budget for production and must have a minimum of five years experience within a mining or quarrying operation and should understand the geology of the slate. Experience working with slate would be hugely advantageous.
Language skills with Spanish or Portuguese would have a secondary usefulness after knowledge of slate. Knowledge of quarrying alone is insufficient experience to be considered for this role.
