MENDOZA, ARGENTINA. July 13, 2011. Argentina Mining is pleased to announce that Pan American Silver, owner of Manantial Espejo Mine in Santa Cruz province,   has confirmed its participation as Silver Sponsor for Argentina Mining 2012 Convention, to be held in the city of Salta, on September 4 - 6, 2012.

Manantial Espejo, the company’s mine in Argentina inaugurated in 2009, has a mineral processing capacity of 2,000 tons-per-day, registering average grades of 192 gr of silver and 1.5 gr of gold per ton. For 2012, the company expects to increase the mineral processing capacity to 2,500 tons-per-day by expanding open pit and underground mining. To achieve this, the company has one of the most efficient processing plants in the country with a recovery rate of 96%. Moreover, an aggressive exploration campaign involving an annual 10,000 meters drilling program to extend the mine lifespan was announced.

Pan American Silver continues working in the silver/lead Navidad project located in the central plateau in Chubut province. The company expects to conclude the final feasibility report this year.
