The ninth edition of the premium event of the Argentinean mining sector, the International Convention on Business Opportunities in Exploration, Geology and Mining, Argentina Mining 2012, will be held on September 4-6, 2012, in Salta province, Argentina.
Argentina Mining is the premier international meeting of the Argentinean mining sector and it takes place biennially since 1996. Mining Conferences have taken place in South America since 1995 and Argentina Mining 2012 will be the ninth edition of this major event in our country. Other editions were Bolivia Mining 95, 99 and 2001 and Ecuador Mining 97.

Argentina Mining 2012, the International Convention on Business Opportunities in Exploration, Geology and Mining, will be held on September 4, 5 and 6 at Salta Convention Centre in Salta, Argentina.
In this opportunity, Salta –one of the most important Argentinean provinces in mining matters– becomes the convention venue that will gather the key players of the sector, with an exhibition covering over 2.500 m2, the presence of 
400 companies approximately, record of attendance of mining companies in an Argentinean mining event, the traditional coreshack, multiple networking opportunities offered by the social program, and forecasted attendance of more than 3,000 visitors.
Traditionally, the major event highlight is the conference program. Over 40 governmental representatives will be part of the conference program which will tackle mining projects; active mining companies; CSR experiences –both in exploration and mining, environmental issues, government policies, legal and financial issues; among other topics, that will contribute to gain a full understanding of mining in Argentina.
The event is directed to executives of mining companies operating in Argentina or considering the country in their International strategies, as well as suppliers looking for business opportunities. Over 50% of attendants hold managerial positions.
