Argentina Mining is pleased to announce that Minera Andes, owner of 49% of San Jose Mine in Santa Cruz province -in joint venture with Hochschild Mining-, and owner of Los Azules project in San Juan, among others, has confirmed its renewed participation, in this opportunity as Copper Sponsor for the 2nd International Conference on Exploration in Latin America, Latin Exploration 2010, to be held in the city of Buenos Aires, on October 28 - 29, 2010.
Minera Andes was Sponsor in the last edition of Argentina Mining 2010 and now it confirms its support to the mining activity in the region by participating in Latin Exploration 2010. Argentina Mining thanks the company for participating one more time and for its continued support to our event.
Minera Andes is a successful exploration company. 49 percent of the value of San Jose's production is attributable to Minera Andes. The company also owns 100% of Los Azules copper project in San Juan province containing 11.2 billion lbs. of copper and other exploration targets are 100% owned by Minera Andes.
