Rafael Argañaraz Olivero is responsible of advising companies in the area of mining, environmental and natural resources law, on regulatory and contractual aspects. He represents leading companies in the global mining industry. He specializes in the registration of mining concessions and permits, and is licensed to process the concession titles with the mining authorities. He also assists in the elaboration of environmental and social impact reports. He conducts mining and corporate due diligence. He graduated as a lawyer from the National University of Tucuman in 2001. He also received a degree as Assistant in Foreign Trade and Mercosur (IDELA - UNT), a postgraduate diploma from the University of Torino (Italy) in International Trade Law and is currently pursuing a LLM in Mineral Law and Policy at the University of Dundee (Scotland). He specialized in environmental matters through numerous courses in Seville and Madrid (Spain). He won several academic scholarships: from the Institute for Latin American Integration and Development (IDELA - UNT); from the University Foundation Rio de la Plata (FURP); from the University of Turin (Italy) and the University Institute of European Studies (IUSE). He resided in USA, Italy and Spain, working six years abroad for multinational companies, which contributed to develop his international profile, something highly valued by our clients.
