About Oficina Abbate Jorge Oscar Abbate founded this company in 1998, after working in the mining sector for almost three decades.
Since 1959 he has held different positions in the province of Santa Cruz, with the title of Mining Technician and as soon as he arrived from Buenos Aires, he began this journey in the mines of Río Turbio and with the passage of time, already in Río Gallegos. He served as Director of Mining Development, Director of Mining and Secretary of Industry and Mining. He was one of the founders and promoters of Fomicruz SE, and the first exploration of what is now Cerro Vanguardia.
30 years ago, he decided to undertake the first mining agency in Santa Cruz, grouping together the main deposits, thus being their link with the State.
