The mining sector in Argentina is becoming more and more active in Corporate Social Responsibility. Companies with advanced projects or mines in production are conducting a broad range of social, training and working programs in collaboration with institutions and the government to secure improvements in education and health, among other areas. Furthermore, most exploration companies develop close relationships with the communities in close vicinity of their projects, and with institutions and governmental entities in the cities where their offices are located: they form part of chambers and associations and contribute to several causes, as any conscious citizen should do.
