The Organizing Committee invites executives, professionals, investigators, consultants and suppliers of the mining industry to participate in Latin Exploration 2011 to present original, practical and interesting works on Exploration in Latin America.

As publicly known, Latin Exploration 2011 is an international conference on Exploration in Latin America, from the creators of the Argentina Mining Convention and it takes place annually since 2009.

• Opportunities on mining in the region.
• Corporate Social Responsibility during exploration.

ABSTRACT PRESENTATIONS

Professionals with interest in participating as speakers are invited to submit a summary of their proposed contribution, no longer than half a page, in English or Spanish, until April 30, 2011 to info@argentinamining.com. The summary should be in MS Word, include a title,  full name of the author or authors, CV, language in which the presentation would be given, as well as position, company, business address, phone and email address.

Should the paper be accepted, the final paper and/or presentation it must be  sent to info@argentinamining.com no later than August 12, 2011.

• For Presentation only submissions: the authors must submit a preliminary version and may continue to work on their presentations. These are mostly those of corporate nature.
• For paper style submissions: Contributions shall have approximately an extension of 5 to 35 pages, be original from the author/s, be written in English or Spanish, have a summary in both languages, and be presented in .DOC format. Figures and tables can be included as graphics or images in .JPG format or another one compatible with Windows.

During the event, each lecture will be showcased as a Powerpoint presentation, supported by simultaneous translation and multimedia equipment (projector and screen). The presentations will have a duration of 20 minutes. Questions will be made at the end of each session.

Summaries will be printed in the program, and published in the website. After the event, presentations and papers will be published in our website to be available to all attendants.

DEADLINES

• January 14, 2011: Call for papers begins.
• January 14 to April 30, 2011: Presentation of summaries and CV.
• April 30 to June 30, 2011: Notice of acceptance to authors.
• August 12, 2011: Submission of papers and/or preliminary presentations.
