Visas

Citizens of the majority of European countries, North America and the following Latin American countries do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days: Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panamá, Perú and Venezuela. Upon entry you will only have to present a valid passport and fill out a form (obtained from a flight attendant or immigration officer). No payment will be requested.

If you come from other countries, visit this link to find out if you must request a visa: http://www.cancilleria.gov.ar/portal/temas_consulares/visas.html

In case you do need a visa, you can find a list of foreign delegations where you must apply here: http://www.mrecic.gov.ar/portal/repre_argentinas/repre_argentinas.html. When applying, you will normally be asked to fill out a visa application form, provide a valid passport, a round trip ticket, proof of sufficient finances to travel (i.e. credit card statements) and a passport size photo. In some cases you may also be required to present an invitation letter. Should this be the case, contact us and we will provide the letter. It is highly recommendable to start the application process as far ahead as possible to avoid any inconveniences.

Also, you must have in mind that if you have a connecting flight in the US, you must have a valid US visa (except for the countries participating in the visa waiver programme).
