The group of companies with exploration or mining interests in Argentina is currently exceeding 130, and from those, over 40% are headquartered in Canada. Nevertheless, it is interesting to point out that now 18% is from Argentinean origin.

In terms of the stages in the Mining cycle in which the companies are, 14% are producing one or more of the following minerals: gold, silver, copper or lithium, among others. On the other side of the cycle, over 81% are devoted to exploration, that is to say they are in the riskiest stage in terms of investments.

In relation to exploration targets, the most popular is gold, being closely followed by silver, copper and industrial minerals.
