Silver Standard Resources was Sponsor in recent conventions of Argentina Mining and it now confirms its participation as Gold Sponsor once again in the meeting that gathers the key actors of the mining industry in Argentina.  Argentina Mining thanks the company for participating one more time and for its continued support to our events.

Silver Standard reported that 1.57 MT were processed registering grades of 217 g/t, a metallurgic recovery of 74.9 %, equivalent to a total silver production of 8,216 Moz, and that sulphur minerals processing is carried out obtaining expected silver/zinc recovery rates.

As regards the gold/silver Diablillos Project located in Salta, metallurgic and engineering studies were completed necessary to undertake a Preliminary Economic Report. Open pit mining combined with conventional milling and heap leaching processing is being evaluated.
